    Old school, tavern style pizza in an old school establishment


    If you're a pizza snob and in the area, then you must make a stop because no one in the area does it better than Ledo's when it comes to thin crust pizza


    The other menu items don't disappoint and everyone here makes you feel welcome.

    Ledo's is Countryside's finest establishment. From the moment I walked through the doors as a kid, I knew I was walking into heaven. Each visit, I devoured a cheese pizza just for me, and I also set the high score on every video game in the place (records never broken as of this writing).


    The pizza is iconic. Simple squares. Perfect with an ice cold beer. I don't live around here anymore but I hope the locals can band together and support this one-of-a-kind Chicagoland gem during the hard times, because Ledo's has always been there for us. Great delivery drivers, too.

    I've only had their thin crust pizza here, but it was great.  The thin crust was just a hair thicker than expected, so it was crispy without being soggy at all.  The sauce is the star of the show, however.  The toppings were well done and the appropriate amount.  Overall, it was worth the 50 minute drive.


    The establishment has large rooms with many tables crammed in.  Great fun for families and sports teams after a game.  My opinion is that gambling machines add a certain amount of seediness to a place. Yes, there are gambling machines here. If you are familiar with Barnaby's on the north side, this place feels similar only without the darkness or booths.
